More than a Quarter of Surveyed Faculty Know Someone in their Department Who Experienced Sexual Harassment
The Crimson conducted a survey of Harvard Faculty of Arts and Sciences members on sexual harassment perceptions and experiences. More than a quarter of respondents reported knowing someone in their department who experienced sexual harassment at Harvard. Over 8% of surveyed faculty indicated they themselves experienced sexual harassment. The survey, distributed to over 1,100 FAS and SEAS members, received 476 responses. A higher percentage of female respondents reported experiences or knowledge of sexual harassment. The survey also revealed varying confidence levels in Harvard's Title IX Office and Office for Dispute Resolution. The survey highlights ongoing concerns about sexual harassment culture at Harvard.| Creator |
