Prevalence of Sexual Misconduct at Harvard Remains Unchanged From Four Years Ago, AAU Survey Finds
Harvard's participation in a national sexual misconduct climate survey show that despite administrative changes and new programs, the prevalence of sexual assault on campus has remained largely unchanged since 2015. This year's report reveals that 33 percent of women reported experiencing some form of nonconsensual sexual contact, similar to the 2015 figure. While more than half of students trust the University with their concerns, many don't report due to feeling they can handle it themselves or fearing the consequences. The survey also indicated that most incidents occur between two students in campus housing, often involving alcohol.| Creator |
