Teen-Ager Shot and Killed On Mount Auburn Street
A teenager was shot and killed on Mt. Auburn St. while trying to prevent a young woman from being molested. The incident occurred outside the Morgan Memorial Store. The victim, an 18 or 19-year-old frequent visitor to Sanctuary, a counseling service for street people, was from Indiana. He was shot in the chest by an assailant described as a 22-year-old black man, 6'1", wearing a brown hat, an army p-jacket, and bell-bottom dungaree pants, and carrying two .44-caliber pistols. The victim was pronounced dead shortly after at Cambridge City Hospital.| Creator |
