Police Didn't Inform Hall Of Kirkland Rape Attempt
An assailant broke into Kirkland House and attempted to rape a Radcliffe student who was able to scare off the attacker. Stephen S. J. Hall, chair of Harvard's Committee to Study Violent Crimes, expressed frustration with the lack of communication from Cambridge Police. The committee will convene to address safety measures, emergency call boxes, entryway locks, police views on crime, proactive measures, and selecting a new police chief. Cambridge Police are investigating but have no suspects. The Rape Crisis Center notes a rise in reported rapes near Harvard Square.| Creator |
