After Sexual Harassment Lawsuit, Critics Attack Harvard’s Release of Therapy Records
During Harvard's investigation of sexual harassment allegations against Comaroff, the administration obtained notes from Lilia Kilburn's therapy sessions and gave them to Comaroff, allowing him to attempt to undermine her credibility. Experts questioned whether Harvard had acted legally or ethically to obtain Kilburn's confidential medical records. While all documents submitted by the victim for corroboration are also shared with the abuser in an investigation, Kilburn stated that there is no record of her signing a consent form for the therapy records to be submitted at all.| Creator |
