Being Gay at Harvard
The writer discusses her experiences being gay both at Harvard and in general, especially in terms of gay community and lifestyle, and the contrasts she experienced between her undergraduate institution and Harvard. In particular, she recalls an opinion article printed in the Independent stating that homosexuality was "a threat to Harvard," and the low attendence at the Harvard-Radcliffe Gay Students Association. Still, she feels that New England has generally been supportive of the gay lifestyle, and that there are many resources for members of the gay community.| Creator |
