Gov Prof Dominguez to Retire Following Harassment Allegations
Government professor Jorge I. Dominguez announced his retirement from Harvard at the end of the semester after 18 women accused him of sexual harassment. Chair of the Government department Jennifer L. Hochschild confirmed that Dominguez's retirement would not affect the ongoing investigation into these allegations. Dominguez’s retirement follows a Chronicle of Higher Education report detailing allegations of harassment spanning three decades. Dominguez began his Harvard career in 1972 and held various administrative positions despite earlier accusations and sanctions. He taught two undergraduate classes in fall 2017 and was on sabbatical before being placed on leave.| Creator |
