Insecurity at the Cliffe
Recent security issues at Radcliffe College have prompted calls for improved safety measures. Incidents include the stabbing of a sophomore and multiple thefts, with intruders often escaping before police arrive. In response, Radcliffe is installing individual room locks, peepholes, and identifying patches for Buildings and Grounds staff. The recent stabbing and the unsolved murders and rapes of Jane Britton and Ada Bean have heightened concerns, yet patrols by University and Cambridge police remain limited. Currently, only six night watchmen and patrolmen cover the area.| Creator |
