Harassment Counseling In Houses
Harvard officials have intensified efforts to provide two counselors in each House to address undergraduates' concerns about sexual harassment. Assistant Dean Marlyn Lewis stated that information about these counselors is being more widely circulated through House newsletters. The initiative aims to offer students a decentralized and familiar support system, allowing them to discuss issues with a senior tutor or a designated House official of the opposite sex. The Radcliffe Union of Students (RUS) supports the effort but stresses the need for formal training for those handling complaints. The counselors receive instructions from the College's Administrative Board and rely on common sense to provide expert advice.| Creator |
