Owen Labrie Sentenced to Jail Time
Owen A. Labrie, who was expected to join Harvard's Class of 2018, was sentenced to one year in jail for breaking a court-imposed curfew after being convicted of misdemeanors and a felony. Labrie was initially arrested for raping a 15-year-old girl at St. Paul’s School in New Hampshire as part of a tradition called the "senior salute." His bail was revoked after he was seen on a train in Boston by a reporter. Labrie's lawyer argued he only broke curfew for classes and meetings with his attorneys.| Creator |
