Ex-Prof. Charged in Crimes
Dr. Christopher V. Rowland, a former Harvard professor, was arrested for illegally prescribing controlled substances. Rowland, who served as an assistant clinical professor of psychology at the Medical School for 30 years until 1992, is charged with five counts of illegal prescription of tranquilizers that enhance the effects of heroin and methadone. Authorities are also investigating his connection to the drug-related deaths of two patients and his handling of patient care. Additionally, Rowland faces two sexual misconduct lawsuits, one where he coerced his patient to perform oral sex.| Creator |
