Effort to Recall HUA Co-President John Cooke Set for General Vote After Petition Campaign Succeeds
A petition campaign to recall Harvard Undergraduate Association (HUA) Co-President John S. Cooke '25 succeeded in gathering enough signatures to trigger a recall election. The campaign, launched by the Harvard Feminist Coalition, collected 527 signatures in 24 hours, surpassing the required 391 signatures. The recall follows allegations of misconduct that led to Cooke's expulsion from the Fox Club. The recall election, the first in HUA's history, will occur within the next two weeks, requiring a two-thirds majority to remove Cooke from office.| Creator |
