College Lacks Adequate Resources for Rape Crises

Two Harvard students criticized the University's inadequate support for sexual assault victims. After being assaulted by classmates, they found University Health Services lacking in staff trained in specialized rape crisis procedures and were forced to turning to off-campus resources like Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Boston instead. The Coalition Against Sexual Violence is advocating for improved resources, including a women's center and 24-hour counseling.
