At Forum, Police Say Recent Attack Was Attempted Rape
An assailant struck an undergraduate student with a blunt object and forced her to the ground, prompting the Cambridge community to gather in a forum and voice their safety concerns. The forum also discussed a prior instance where a man groped an undergraduate in Cambridge Common. At the forum, Cambridge Police Department and Harvard University Police Department officers expressed that the high volume of recent incidents was an "anomaly" and encouraged students to take precautions to reduce their risk levels.| Creator |
