‘Feminist Hysteria’: A History Of Sexual Violence At Harvard
This article features comments from alumna of Radcliffe College, including Lynn J. Ochberg '64, and their experiences with sexual violence. She recounts that at the time, a publication of the women's high school photos would be distributed to the men with their contact information. Many women were raped before orientation ended, and were advised to consider it a 'milestone' instead of an assault. Campus resources for sexual assault were scant or nonexistent, and police officers often dismissed victims' claims.| Creator |
